Jayakumari Frozen's parlour in Vizag

Jayakumari Frozen Foods (P) Ltd launched its ice-cream in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday and the first parlour was inaugurated by Minister of Finance Mr K. Rosaiah. Mr P. Sobhan Prakash, Managing Director, said that several such parlours would be opened in the city under the brand name `Celebrations'. The company was an established player in the ice-cream business in the Rayalaseema region, he said. A manufacturing unit would be set up at Madhurawada on the outskirts in June at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore and the total investment would comprise Rs 4-5 crore. Mr Prakash said he was a director of the Trinethra supermarket chain. "We will also make use of the retail outlets to sell our ice-cream," he said.
