Panasonic: On higher ground

Is deep value buying on in Panasonic counter? Grapevine suggests so. The stock closed on the upper circuit on the BSE on Tuesday at Rs 16.30. It has gained over 47 per cent in the last one month. A set of value pickers has reportedly zeroed in on the small-cap stock for its pedigree (Japanese MNC), track record (profit-making, virtually debt-free and Rs 50 crore equity) and growth potential (popular brand and growing sales).
