SpiceJet to add more flights

New Delhi, May 3

Low-cost airline SpiceJet that inducted its sixth Boeing 737-800 aircraft, is to introduce a new flight on the Delhi-Hyderabad-Chennai sector soon. From May 10, when the newly inducted aircraft becomes operational, the airline will be able to offer 9,000 seats a day, up from the current level of 7,500 seats a day, a statement issued by the airline states. Similarly, the number of daily flights will reach 49 , up from 36 now. The airline plans to induct five more aircraft by end of this year and have a fleet of about 20 aircraft in next three years, the statement adds.
