More banks hike NRE rates

Kochi, May 3

Federal Bank, Dhanalakshmi Bank and Lord Krishna Bank have raised interest rates on NRE deposits of various maturities.The interest rates on deposits of one to two years tenure is 6.33 per cent (6.30 per cent), on two to three years 6.34 per cent (6.30 per cent) and on three years and above 6.35 per cent (6.30 per cent). All three banks have revised the rates for FCNR deposits.
