Jet, Air Sahara conclude consultancy pact

Jet Airways has announced the conclusion of an agreement under which it has been engaged as a consultant to Sahara Airlines.

The objective of the pact is for Jet Airways to assist Sahara Airlines management in improving its overall performance and customer service, as also to promote the interests of Sahara Airlines in India and overseas.

The consultancy agreement has been concluded pursuant to the understanding reached between the two airlines to extend by 90 days, effective March 24, 2006, the validity of the Share Purchase Agreement concluded by Jet Airways and the selling shareholders of Sahara Airlines on January 18, 2006.

After the agreement, senior Jet Airways executives from all operating departments will be assigned the responsibility of providing consultancy services to Sahara Airlines in various areas, including marketing, flight operations, cargo/airport services, maintenance and engineering and human resources.
