TVS unveils Apache in Vizag

Visakhapatnam, May 4

TVS is hoping to sell 15,000 units of its new two-wheeler model, Apache, in the next two to three months, at least 2,000 of them in Andhra Pradesh, according to Mr R. Balaji, Area Manager. At the launch function here, he said the market prediction was that more than 56,000 bikes in the premium category would be sold in the country during this year. The Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Mr. Narasimhappa, was the chief guest at the function. It was adjudged the `Best Bike of the Year' by CNBC-TV18, Autocar, Overdrive and Business Standard Motoring along with the `Best Design of the Year and Best Indigenous Design of the Year' awards from the BBC TopGear and the Overdrive, respectively.
