Lakshmi Vilas Bank hikes rates

Coimbatore, May 4

Lakshmi Vilas Bank has increased the interest rates on NRE and FCNR (B) term deposits from May 1.

While retaining the existing rate of 6.30 per cent on the one to below 3 years NRE deposit, it has hiked the rate by 10 basis points to 6.40 per cent for tenure of over 3 years. The increase is in direct proportion to the tenure, varying from 4 basis points to 12 on the dollar deposit.
