Mr R. Rajamani has been elevated to the position of Managing Director on the board of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL).

A press release said here on Wednesday that Mr Rajamani assumed charges of his new assignment on April 27. Mr Rajamani, who was the refinery in-charge till recently, joined MRPL in 1993 as General Manager (Technical Services). He was promoted as Vice-President in 2003, after Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Ltd took over MRPL, the release added.
