Bonus/split tune in BHEL

Public sector engineering major BHEL attracted buying interest in early trade on Thursday.

Dealers said a big corporate announcement that includes bonus or a stock split may be in the offing. The counter saw some accumulation by operators, they said.

On Thursday, the shares hit Rs 2,400 before closing at Rs 2,363.50. Dealers said BHEL is required to get Government approval before taking a final decision.
