The Chairman of the Saboo Group, Mr R.K. Saboo, passed away on Friday. He was 83. He is survived by wife, three sons and a daughter. After promoting insurance and fertilisers business initially, he made a mark in the automobile sector with the Luna moped. The Group today has automobile dealerships in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Vijayawada and is one of the leaders in Maruti. Mr Saboo, was also a freedom fighter and social activist being associated with various organisation, a release from Saboo Motors said here.
