Bangla Minister admitted to hospital

Hyderabad, May 5

Mr Saifur Rahman, Minister for Finance of Bangladesh, who is in the city to attend the ongoing ADB annual meeting, has been admitted to a private hospital here. The officials have rushed Mr Rahman, who suffered from urinary tract problems, to a private hospital after he complained of breathlessness. His condition was stated be stable. Mr Rahman, who was on ADB's board of governors, was to address a session on Friday. Mr Md Ismail Zabibullah, an alternative governor deputing the Minister, had read out the speech copy of Mr Rahman.
