Letters Power crisis
The electricity crisis needs a permanent solution as demand is only going to increase by the day. The Delhi Government's order of cutting down working hours is welcome but doing so will affect the economy. Why not the Government consider installing solar-powered units for streetlights, advertisement display boards, etc.? Solar power units can be supplied to domestic consumers free of charge or at a nominal price, depending on their economic capacity. Maintenance of these units should be the duty of the householders.
