New Delhi , May 8

NIIT Technologies Ltd today said its new campus in Greater Noida would become operational in 18 months.

"The company is investing about Rs 100 crore on the upcoming 20 acre campus, and we have already acquired the land for it. In the first phase the campus would have the capacity to house about 3,000 professionals," Mr Arvind Thakur, NIIT Technologies' Chief Executive Officer, said.

Upon completion of all the phases, the campus would have a capacity to house 12,000 professionals. "NTL's existing facilities are in various parts of Delhi and are on long-term leases.

The idea is to gradually consolidate them in the campus. Some of the facilities will, however, continue to function," NIIT Technologies' Chairman, Mr Rajendra S Pawar, said.
