Intoto India R&D teams in Hyderabad and Chennai have together developed a unified threat management solution `iGateway' which integrates key technologies critical in a networked environment. This offers an integrated security solution on a single platform and supports new and advanced hardware architecture and products including multi-core processors. The iGateway platform includes ICSA Labs certified firewall and VPN (virtual private network) functions. Intoto's solution includes a new network-based anti-virus and anti-spam technology. This has been pre-integrated support for anti-virus from Kasperky Lab and anti-spam from Commtouch. According to IDC prediction, by 2009, unified threat management (UTM) will become the single largest market segment within network security growing to $2.4 billion and surpassing even firewall appliances. The UTM software platform allows original equipment manufacturers to quickly and cost-effectively drive new appliances to market.
