Artson hits 5 pc upper circuit

Artson Engineering finished at its five per cent upper circuit at Rs 43.40 over the unconfirmed news that it is in an advance stage of negotiations with a large domestic petrochemicals company for an order worth around Rs 60 crore. The street buzz was that the order would be formalised by the end of this month. The order is considered significant for the company, which is registered under BIFR and restructuring is pending. According to market sources, if the order actually comes through, it would go a long way for the company to come out of the BIFR purview.
