IndiGo, Airbus open training centre

New Delhi, May 8

The low-cost airline, IndiGo, and the European aircraft manufacturer, Airbus Industrie, today announced the inauguration of Airbus Active Learning and Competence Focused Training (AACT), a centre located in Delhi. The eight-week programme combines traditional classroom setting with computers, allowing maintenance engineers to train virtually using aircraft simulation type software. IndiGo has ordered 100 Airbus aircraft and plans to be operational later this year.
