FAPCCI hails rates cut

Our Bureau

Hyderabad, May 8

The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) has welcomed the Andhra Pradesh Government decision to reduce rate on 179 industrial inputs from 12.5 per cent to 4 per cent category. The chambers had been asking the Government to keep the industrial inputs out of the 12.5 per cent bracket, as it would put the State in a disadvantageous position, a press release said. "The new categorisation of items would greatly benefit the industry by relieving it from the liquidity problems," it said.
