Breweries Radico Khaitan Q4 net up 8 per cent Our Bureau
New Delhi , May 9 Radico Khaitan Ltd has recorded an 8 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 12.82 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31 compared to Rs 11.91 crore in the corresponding period the previous year. The company's total revenues increased by 11 per cent to Rs 267.67 crore in the fourth quarter compared to Rs 241.17 crore in the same period last year. For the year ended March 31, the company posted a 26 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 45.16 crore (Rs 35.85 crore). The company recorded a 17 per cent increase in its total income at Rs 1,135.39 crore for the fiscal (Rs 973.59 crore). Radico Khaitan's board has recommended an equity dividend of Rs 0.50 on equity shares of Rs 2 each (25 per cent) for the year ended March 31, 2006. Mr Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director, Radico Khaitan Limited said, "With our expansion plan and our new strategy, the company is expecting a growth of 25 per cent in sales the next year."
