Consumer centre for civil supplies

The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation has opened a consumer information centre at its central office here to generateawareness of quality among consumers. The information centre will allow consumers to check the quality of products such as pulses, spices, oils, fruits, vegetables, rice etc. The centre, set up on the direction of the Government, would accept complaints from consumers and resolve the issues raised by them. Various ward committees, residents' associations, NGOs, elders' forums, and women's associations in select areas of Kochi Corporation can collect samples of various products for quality checks at the information centres.
