Rubber Spot rubber prices recover Aravindan
Kottayam , May 15 Spot rubber prices improved on Monday. The recovery in the domestic scene was led by sharp gains in international markets. Covering groups were also keen to keep the prices better possibly to attract revised quotes from major manufactures. Sheet rubber improved to Rs 95.50 from Rs 95 and Rs 95.25 a kg respectively at Kottayam and Kochi. Ungraded rubber bounced back on renewed buying interest from the non-tyre sector. According to observers the market showed signs of caution as it lacked quantity buyers above certain critical levels though the overseas reports were most favourable.
