Tyco launches business unit

Electronic components manufacturer Tyco Electronics announced the launch of its new business unit — Elo TouchSystems in India. Elo develops, manufactures, and markets touchscreen and touchmonitor products.

A recent development is in interactive music systems for pubs, clubs and other public places.

"With the industrial development and new mall culture spreading rapidly in the country, the need for touchscreens and touchmonitors is increasingly being felt," said Mr Vijay Wadhawan, Sales Manager India, Elo TouchSystems, according to a release.
