Events States - Kerala IIM-K to host management forum meet Our Bureau
Kochi , May 15 The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, will host the ninth annual convention of the `Strategic Management Forum' from May 18-20. The convention is a consortium of IIMs and other top management schools in the country such as XLRI, MDI, IIFM and IIFT, which seeks holistic improvement and enhancement of domain knowledge and the quality of pedagogy as well as value-addition to human resources in strategic management.
Multi-faceted event
IIM-K said that it is proud to host this multi-faceted event as it covers four significant events: Conference on strategic management, National seminar on global business experiences and challenges to Indian companies, Case colloquium and Curriculum design for teaching and training in strategic management. Almost 120 eminent personalities and stalwarts from the academia and industry, along with prospective faculty, who are keen to improve their knowledge base, skills and capabilities in strategic management are expected to attend, a press release from the institute has said. Dr A.C. Muthiah, Chairman of the Board of Governors, IIM-K, is to inaugurate the event, which will be attended by Prof. Shekhar Chaudhuri Director of IIM Calcutta, Prof P.G. Apte, Director of IIM Bangalore, Prof K.R.S. Murthy, Former Director of IIM Bangalore, Mr Amitabh Kumar, Director General of Competition Commission of India, and Mr M. Ayyappan, Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Latex Ltd.
