Khaitan Elect EGM for pref offer

Hyderabad, May 15

Khaitan Electricals Ltd has decided to convene an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of its shareholders on June 5 to seek their consent for the proposed preferential offer. The company proposes to issue 30-lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 129.30 per share for cash for subscription on preferential basis to promoters. It also plans to offer 12-lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 129.30 per share on preferential basis, the company informed the stock exchanges.
