Punj Lloyd bags Rs 138-cr deal

New Delhi, May 16

Engineering and construction firm Punj Lloyd has bagged a contract of over Rs 138 crore for construction of a pipeline project from GAIL (India) Ltd. The contract involves construction of the first phase of the Dahej-Uran pipeline project, which is likely to be completed by February 2007, a company release said here. "This is a prestigious project for us and represent another step forward in meeting company's strategic growth objectives," the Punj Lloyd's Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Atul Punj, said in the statement.
