Oilseeds & Edible Oil Edible oils decline further Our Bureau
Mumbai , May 16 Groundnut oil and RBD palmolein fell further on the local edible oil market on Tuesday on continued offerings by stockists supported by increased supply. Soya oil remained steady on lack of fresh buying interest. RBD palmolein was down Re 1 at Rs 394 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was down Rs 3 at Rs 465 per 10 kg. Soya oil refined imported was steady at Rs 395 per 10 kg. However, soya oil crude oil imported was down Rs 4 at Rs 374 per 10 kg on fresh offerings. Sunflower oil expeller was steady at Rs 405 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was steady at Rs 325 per 10 kg. In futures segment, castor seed June contracts ended weak at Rs 1,512 per quintal over previous day.
Sugar weak
Small grade (S-30) was steady at Rs 1,923/1,965 per quintal. Medium grade (M-30) was down Rs 10 at Rs 1,958/2,000 per quintal over previous close on lack of fresh buying from retailers.
