Seminar on telecommunication

A one-day seminar on `Present and forthcoming trends in telecommunication' — organised by Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Engineers' Association — will be held in Mangalore on May 20.

Addressing presspersons here on Tuesday, Mr U. Nagender Rao, Convenor of the seminar committee, said that Mr T.N. Sudhindra Kumar, Principal General Manager, Dakshina Kannada Telecom District, would inaugurate the seminar. Mr B. Padmanabha Rai, Working President of the association, will preside over the function. Nearly 300 delegates are expected to attend the seminar, he said. There will be technical sessions on subjects such as `Innovation in telecommunications' and `Wireless communication technology' at the seminar, he added.
