`Da Vinci Code' cleared with no cuts

New Delhi, May 18

The controversial film, The Da Vinci Code, has been cleared for screening with Adult certification. In an informal chat with newspersons, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Mr P.R. Dasmusi, said that the film would have a disclaimer at the start and at the end of movie that it was a work of "fiction." The film has been cleared without any cuts. The Deputy Secretary-General of the Catholic Bishops Conference of India, Father Donald D'Souza, said: "The film should be given an A certificate as it is meant for mature audiences."
