Bid to forge strategic ties with UK

New Delhi, May 20

The Labour Member of the UK Parliament, Mr Keith Vaz, will be the Patron of the India-UK Business Forum in the UK, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) has announced.

Mr Rajpal S. Chowdhury, Chairman of Assocham Indo-UK Business Committee, will head the Indian side of the new forum.

The Assocham is currently leading a 30-member business delegation to the UK that will forge strategic alliances in the areas of real estate, civil aviation, IT, telecom, biotechnology, nano-technology and manufacturing.
