AP Govt directive on Bt cottonseeds

Hyderabad, May 22

The Andhra Pradesh Government has asked the cotton farmers not to buy Bt cottonseeds at exorbitant rates.

Talking to presspersons at SLBC (State Level Banker's Committee) meeting here on Monday, the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, said the Government was going to discuss this issue soon and take a decision, asking the farmers not to buy the seeds at high prices till such time.
