School enrolment campaign in AP

Hyderabad, May 23

The Andhra Pradesh Government has launched a 12-day children's school enrolment campaign called `Badi-Bata', from today. School-aged children, orphan, street children, dropouts and never enrolled children would be identified and admitted to Government schools. According to Mr K. Chandra Mouli, State Project Director, Sarva Siksha Abhiyaan, the admission would be done between June 12-15. In the meantime, meetings with field officers of Education Department and other involved would be conducted between May 29 and 31, an official press release said.
