TVS Finance ties up with DoP

Our Bureau

Chennai, May 24

TVS Finance and Services has entered into a marketing tie up with the Department of Posts, Karnataka, to sell its loan products. The deal involves all the post offices in Karnataka to deliver `loans at doorstep'. Targeted at rural and semi-urban markets, customers can purchase two-wheelers, consumer durables and personal computers manufactured by TVS, through this scheme. Postmen will carry loan order forms with them while on duty and customers can use these to request loans. Completed forms can be sent through postmen to the Head Post Office. Here representatives of TVS Finance would collect the forms on a daily basis. The company would then issue pre-approval coupons that would reach customers through postmen. Using these coupons one may buy the required items, said Mr V. Ramesh, CEO, TVS Finance and Services, in a press release.
