Parker completes a decade in India

Luxor Writing Instruments Pvt Ltd (LWIL) has announced the completion of a decade of its premium brand, Parker, in India. Parker was launched by

LWIL in March, 1996. Ms Pooja Jain, Executive Director, LWIL, said in a press statement, "Our target was to make Parker the preferred brand for achievers, whatever their age may be. Today, having sold 70 million pens in 10 years, we now plan to achieve the target sales of 100 million pens in the next 18 months." The Parker Premium range includes Duofold, Parker 100, Sonnet, Rialto and Frontier, whereas the Parker Functional range in India includes, Beta,

Vector, Jotter and Reflex. All Parker pens and accessories like inks, ball pens refills and fountain pen nibs are manufactured in India.
