Sharekhan bullish on online retail trading

Our Bureau

Hyderabad , May 25

Sharekhan Ltd, one of the leading retail brokerage houses with strong online trading platform, is bullish on growth in online retail trading across the country.

Given the information technology and IT-enabled services boom across the country, online trading too has got a big boost with more software and call centre professionals turning first-time investors, said Mr Prasanna Shenoy, Sharekhan Hyderabad Head. Addressing newspersons here on Thursday on the eve of opening Sharekhan's new branch, he said, "The past few months have seen the market perform extremely well. Though recently we have witnessed a correction, it just goes to show that the bull markets are maturing and treading cautiously."

Guidance

According to him, the stock market is mysterious and confusing for a layman. Stating that it prevents one from taking their first steps into stocks, denying them the benefits stock markets can provide, Mr Shenoy said Sharekhan would guide first-time investors and help demystify the stock market in an easy to understand manner.
