Call rates remain steady

Mumbai, May 25

Call rates were steady at 5.5-5.6 (5.5-5.6 per cent). In the first one-day reverse repo auction under LAF, the Reserve Bank of India received and accepted 28 bids amounting to Rs 30,435 crore and in the second auction, 43 bids for Rs 31,400 crore. There were no repo bids.

The CBLO market saw 312 trades, aggregating Rs 17,995.1 crore in the 4.92-5.25 per cent range.
