Mercator Lines: Betting on numbers

Shipping transport services firm Mercator Lines Ltd gained 2.34 per cent to Rs 43.65 on buzz that the company would announce an excellent Q4 results, dealers said.

The company is scheduled to report its Q4 and full year results on May 31. The Mumbai-based company recently marked its foray into offshore business when it won a Rs 810 crore order for the construction of a `Jack up rig', suitable for deployment worldwide.

On the NSE, the shares closed up 1.52 per cent at Rs 43.55.
