SunGard Offshore Services has inaugurated its second facility in Bangalore. The firm is a subsidiary of US-based SunGard, a provider of software and processing solutions for financial services, higher education and the public sector. SunGard's Bangalore facilities now total 35,000 square feet with capacity for 250 people. The company plans to increase its headcount in India to 1,000 by January 2007. The company operates software development centers in

Bangalore and Pune to support SunGard products and customers worldwide. SunGard has annual revenues of $4 billion.
