Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd (RCF) has reported a higher net profit of Rs 79.72 crore for the fourth quarter of 2005-06 against Rs 60.45 crore in the year-ago period.

Total income (net of excise) has increased to Rs 860.05 crore from Rs 703.57 crore.

For the year, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 147.96 crore (Rs 140.96 crore).

Total income (net of excise) has increased to Rs 3,114.89 crore (Rs 2,840.08 crore).

The board of directors has recommended a final dividend of 10 per cent.

Shares of RCF moved up by Rs 2.05 to Rs 45.10 on BSE.
