BA Cargo's new schedule

Following a strategic review of its services, British Airways World Cargo (BAWC) has announced a new schedule, effective June 1. To address the eastern trade imbalance, an issue for many carriers, BAWC will be increasing rotations from Europe and India with a twice weekly Hong Kong service, routed via Delhi and Frankfurt and a weekly Hong Kong service via Frankfurt. An expansion of line freight routes will mean additional cargo capacity to a number of destinations. It may be recalled that last September BAWC added an additional Hong Kong service, increasing its frequency from seven to eight per week. On the return leg, the Hong Kong service was routed via Delhi increasing the airline's freighter frequency via Delhi to six a week.
