Andhra Bank pays Rs 87.5 cr to Govt

Hyderabad, May 28

Andhra Bank has announced that it has paid a dividend of 35 per cent to its shareholders for 2005-06. In a release, the bank said that its Chairman and Managing Director, Mr K. Ramakrishnan, and the Executive Director, Mr Kalyan Mukherjee, met the Union Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, and presented a dividend of warrant for Rs 87.5 crore towards the dividend payable to the Government of India.
