RBD palmolein moves higher

Mumbai , May 30

RBD palmolein prices moved up on the local edible oil market on Tuesday on emergence of some buying amid reduced offering. Imported crude soya oil was steady at Rs 380 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was steady at Rs 470 per 10 kg.

Sunflower oil expeller was steady at Rs 400 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was steady at Rs 322 per 10 kg. RBD palmolein was up Rs 2 at Rs 397 per 10 kg.

In futures segment, castor seed August contracts ended lower at Rs 1,515 per quintal, down by Rs 6 over previous day.

Sugar gains

Sugar spot prices moved up further on the Vashi wholesale market on Tuesday on continued buying amid reduced inflows.

Small grade (S-30) was up Rs 10 at Rs 1,9051,945 a quintal over previous day, while medium grade (M-30) was also up at Rs 1,930-1,980 a quintal.
