FROM THE WEST: A vendor selling figs near Charminar in Hyderabad. The fruit is sold at Rs 30 for a dozen. Fig has caught the attention of buyers for medicinal properties to fight anaemia and low blood pressure. The fruit finds its way to the South from farms in Pune, Maharashtra .
