Ratnabali Capital plans expansion

Ratnabali Capital Markets Ltd, a stock broking company based in Kolkata, is planning to invest Rs 25 crore in the next few years towards opening of new branches and establishing e-broking services.

The company, which caters directly to about 2,000 clients, is hopeful of taking its plans forward and also hopes to set up an investment banking division.

The company, according to a press release issued here, has seen an increase in the number of clients and has recorded a high margin in arbitrage activities in 2005-06.

The company, listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, provides commodity broking services through a group company, the release has added.
