Regular blood donors to be feted

As part of the observance of World Blood Donor Day on June 14, surgicals major Terumo Penpol is teaming up with the National Service Scheme (NSS) of the University of Kerala to honour regular donors. Announcing this, a Terumo Penpol spokeswoman said here that an enabling norm for donor award would be minimum 10 donations in the past five years. There will be separate prizes for those who have donated more than 50 times, between 25-50 times, and more than 10 times. The chosen donors will be feted on June 14 at a function to be held at the Vylopally Samskrithi Bhavan here. Those who wish to enlist themselves may contact either the NSS Coordinator at 0471-2307427 (landline) and 94471-57290 (mobile) or the Public Relations Officer at Terumo Penpol at 0471-2725357 or 98474-22400.
