Tile manufacturer Kajaria Ceramics Ltd registered a net profit of Rs 8.91 crore for the quarter ended March 31, up 50 per cent from Rs 5.93 crore for the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal. The sales of the company for the quarter ended March 31 stood at Rs 116.25 crore, up 35 per cent from Rs 90.66 crore for the corresponding quarter.

The net profit of 2005-2006 stood at Rs 28.17 crore, up 11 per cent from Rs 25.49 crore for the preceding fiscal. The sales of the company stood at Rs 351.8 crore, up 17 per cent from Rs 300.39 crore for the preceding fiscal.
