TN Chamber plans infrastructure fair

Our Correspondent

Madurai , June 4

The Tamilnadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in its executive committee meeting held recently, has discussed a plan to organise an infrastructure fair to pave the way for establishing the much-awaited IT Park in Madurai district.

According to Mr S. Rethinavelu, Chamber President, identification of land for the park might take some time and those making investments would expect building and basic facilities, to start with. The fair will help in facilitating identification of appropriate buildings from where they can start functioning immediately. A minimum requirement from property owners would be 15,000 sq ft building; establishment of an IT Park would require 25-30 acres, he added.
