Jog: `How now, how now, chop-logic!' as in Romeo and Juliet.

Sri: Choppy seas and choppier markets! Long-term trend?

Dax: Continues to be positive. Be an optimist!

Jog: Worried by correction; a technical rebound not ruled out.

Sri: Asian Electronics could see some strength.

Kay: On the back of news that it has clinched an order?

Dax: Ditto with Thermax, its unit secured 3 orders.

Jog: News of a proposal to raise Rs 175 crore thru the FCCB!

Sri: Could weigh down on the Spentex Industries stock.

Dax: Wild card picks include Dewan Hsg and Mro-Tek.

Jog: Dipping global tea prices appear to have taken their toll!

Kay: Did you say tear? `Wretched tears,' says the Bard

in Titus Andronicus!

Sri: Quite a few tea & power stocks were hit over the week.

Kay: GTC Ind had a sharp run in recent months; but dropped...

Jog: By about 40%. Other cigarette players too saw declines.

Dax: `The smoke out at the chimney,' says Rosalind.

Sri: Tata Coffee's tie-up doesn't appear to be working.

Kay: On the markets? What has happened to its rights offer?

Dax: Was Friday a teaser to entice gullible investors!

Jog: That all's well with the market?

Kay: Steel sector shows promise.

Dax: Maruti, the hero on Friday may continue its good run.

Jog: EID Parry. Never say never again to this sugar and

ceramic fittings manufacturer

Kay: Watching Suzlon Energy. Is currently trading at a P/E

multiple of 30. Is there enough potential for wind energy?

Sri: What about Bharat Electronics?

Kay: Has recorded a good order book for the fiscal.

Kay: Markets showing huge volatility.

Jog: One can't decipher much on the movement, technically.

Sri: Nifty closed higher on Friday but see a resistance at 3,167.

Dax: On the downside, a fall below 2,931 is risky to hold longs.

Sri: Though market bounced on Friday, it is still

vulnerable to selling.

Sri: $ appreciating versus Re. IT cos should thrive on this.

Dax: Satyam's CEO has said that its OPM will raise by 30 bps...

Kay: For every one per cent fall in rupee.

Jog: In these rainy days, one can look at good

fundamental stocks.

Sri: Savita Chems' fundas are attractive; declared

handsome dividend.

Kay: Hind-Dorr Oliver announced one bonus share for 5 held!

Dax: But the stock has fallen 5% at Rs 148 on Friday.
