New I-T form

This with reference to "New I-T returns form — not saral anymore" (Business Line, June 5): Thought must be given to the simple keying in of basic data as done till now in respect of PAN cards. PAN is a good system if every one keys in the number accurately. As it is, many are issuing PAN numbers to clear arrears and to keep up schedules. It is time that a proper authority in government surveys the details of the mistakes already made.
