Thiruvananthapuram, June 5

US Technology Resources (USTRI), a Technopark-based IT and BPO services provider, has launched an eco-initiative to coincide with the World Environment Day. USTRI will partner with the State Forests Department to plant 2006 saplings during the course of this year as part of the joint venture called `Green Day', a company spokesman said here. Mr Arun Narayanan, Head, Global Delivery, presented the corporate letter of support to the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests at a function held here on Monday. Green Day commits the US-headquartered company to planting at least one sapling for each employee who works at the Thiruvananthapuram centre.
