K. Dhandapani arm plans new projects

Chennai, June 7

Dhandapani Properties Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Rs 200-crore K. Dhandapani and Co Ltd, plans to construct over five lakh sq. ft. of residential properties in Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Tirunelveli. The new projects in these cities will be completed within two years. The company has planned three properties in Bangalore of about 75,000 sq. ft. in all. The flats would be about 1,200-1,400 sq. ft. each and would cost about Rs 1,800-2,500 per sq. ft. It is also promoting independent houses near Coimbatore costing about Rs 25 lakh each. It has completed two projects in Chennai and Coimbatore of about one lakh sq. ft. of space.
