PHDCCI for TV monitoring agency

Our Bureau

New Delhi, June 7

The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry has stressed the need for a monitoring agency for TV content. Television viewership is anticipated to touch 128 million households by 2010, according to the chamber. For this anticipated growth to materialise into reality, there is need to introduce an advertising and programming code based upon the country's viewership needs, which can be reviewed from time to time.
